Individuals and groups on retreat at the Norbertine Spirituality Center as well as members of the general public are invited to join the Norbertine Community for prayer. Please note that times are subject to change. Contact us to verify the prayer schedule. All prayer services are held in the main priory church of Santa Maria de la Vid.
- Morning Prayer (Lauds)
- Contemplative Daily Eucharist
- Directly following Morning Prayer (around 7:20 a.m. Monday-Friday)
- Evening Prayer (Vespers)
- Sunday Eucharist
On Norbertine Community Days (usually the third Friday of the month) Prayer Times are as follows:
- Morning Prayer (Lauds)
- Eucharist (using the scripture readings for the upcoming Sunday)
- Evening Prayer (Vespers)
On Thursdays (except in weeks when Community Day falls) the scripture readings for the upcoming Sunday liturgy are used instead of the readings of the day. After the homily, we gather in small groups where all are welcome to share reflections on the scriptures.
In addition to the formal prayer schedule of the community the main Church, Eucharistic Chapel, and Chapel of the Baptist (desert chapel) are open to the public during the day for private prayer, contemplation and devotions.
