On Saturday, August 12, Fr. Michael Fish, OSB Cam., returns to the Abbey for a morning presentation entitled, Re-embracing Mystery in daily life: an exploration of Celtic Christian Spirituality. Here’s a description of the program which begins at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Commons at the Abbey:
The existence of an ancient Christian Celtic spirituality is of immense wealth and importance for today. Spirituality that incorporates respect and love of nature and creation; an awareness of the mystery at work in everyday life; the sacredness of seasons restoring us to cosmic harmony; as well as the discovery of the wildness of God, prayer, and ourselves, are a few of the unique characteristics of the Celtic way.
Through myth, prayer, and poetry connect to what is most sacred within you. Rest in the liminal spaces of the imaginal world and re-embrace the mystery and awe of everyday life.
No registration is required and free-will offerings are greatly appreciated. Please note the start time of 9:00 a.m.
