CALLED BACK TO THE WELL an Ecumenical Program for Clergy Spiritual Renewal
Spiritual vitality is the heart of excellence in ministry. Healthy ministry depends on sustained spiritual practice and a supportive peer community. Unfortunately, the demands of parish life can be consuming, drawing pastors away from intimacy with the Holy and connection to colleagues. CALLED BACK TO THE WELL provides spiritual nourishment to those in ministry. Through prayer/ support groups and retreats, clergy connect with God and one another.
Retreats and groups offer clergy opportunities to reflect on their own spiritual journeys and the vitality of their ministries. Participants in the pilot retreats described them as “life-changing”. They express appreciation for the quality of the leadership and time for silent reflection.
