We are a 900+ year old Roman Catholic religious order of priests and brothers living a simple communal life according to the Rule of St. Augustine, in fidelity with the magisterium and Holy Father, serving the local Church of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Over 400 years after the Roman Catholic Faith was brought to New Mexico we as Norbertines, Canons Regular of Prémontré, are planting the seeds of our ancient tradition to live a life of community, contemplation and compassionate service with the people of God in the southwest.We are the youngest abbey in the United States of our ancient Order.
